Our Spacevisor® DevOps team is responsible for the complete service development life cycle of our Spacevisor® Service Delivery Platform serving the Aerospace, Aviation, and Remote Sensing communities.
The Spacevisor® DevOps team elevates our delivery capabilities through the advancement of key technologies, such as digital twin, artificial intelligence, predictive analytics, and processes that fully apply the DevOps delivery model and strengthens the quality, agility, and security of our managed micro-services-based solutions.
DevOps is an approach based on lean and agile principles in which business, development, operations, and quality assurance teams collaborate to deliver services in a continuous manner that enables the business to more quickly develop innovative services, to solve business problems, and reduce the time to include customer feedback.
For our Spacevisor® DevOps team, we are looking for:
DevOps System Engineer T5437
A DevOps System Engineer develops micro-services that perform specific roles across the plethora of customer facing services of the Spacevisor® Service Delivery Platform and will be responsible in a Scrum team for one or more micro-services. This position will also participate in the creation and advancement of Spacevisor® Service Delivery Platform’s cloud presence in Azure or AWS.
Responsibilities
• Develop micro-services for our advanced Spacevisor® Service Delivery Platform
• Working together within the DevOps multi-disciplinary team
• Supporting resource facing services, service availability, and quality
• Assist with the development, documentation and maintenance of architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces and designs for Spacevisor®
• Develop and maintain C++ and/or C# code and integrate software components into the Spacevisor® Service Delivery Platform
Qualifications
Education/Experience:
Bachelor, or higher degree in ICT, Software, Telecom, or a STEM degree in Aerospace, Aviation, or Remote Sensing. Scientific Florida offers its training program for new employees (minimum requirement for the training is one of the degrees mentioned above)
Basic Qualifications:
• Good knowledge of C++ and/or C#
• Strong affinity with MS Visual Studio and .NET technology
• Knowledge of TCP/IP networking, multithreading, Web Services and .NET Remoting
• Good understanding of object-oriented design and its implementation using distributed application infrastructure setup and configuration
• Basic familiarity with Agile software development practices and processes
• This position requires that you work from our offices located at the Kennedy Space Center, FL – USA
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English
Desired Qualifications:
• Knowledge of Cloud Technologies, SQL, and Apache Cassandra is an asset
• Experience with WPF, XML, HTML, ASPNET, and/or Xamarin is a definite plus
• Basic familiarity with Aerospace, Aviation, or Remote Sensing is a definite plus

In addition to administering private cloud technology, this position will participate in the creation and advancement of Spacevisor® Service Delivery Platform’s cloud presence in Azure or AWS.
Responsibilities
• Configuring our advanced Spacevisor® Service Delivery Platform
• Resolving customer issues including complex technical scenarios
• Analyzing client needs and providing solutions
